I am currently a student completing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, practicing under the clinical supervision of Jennifer Jurkofsky. I decided to become a therapist after my own experience of burnout, exhaustion, and feeling like I was just getting through my days. I remember looking around my life and feeling so confused — I had checked all the boxes I was supposed to. I had finished my schooling, had a corporate job, and had supportive friends and family. On paper, I should have been happy.
But something was missing. I was living an outdated version of “happiness,” and I wasn’t living a life that was truly mine. It wasn’t until I found the courage to reconnect with the parts of myself that knew what would be fulfilling that I went from surviving to thriving. My experience inspired me to pursue therapy as a career, so I could help others create a life they are excited for.

If you're yearning for a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and genuinely exciting, you've found your space. It can be so easy to feel disconnected from what we truly want, and live as if we’re on autopilot.
When we’re living a life we don’t feel aligned with, we can experience more stress, lower engagement, resentment, disinterest, higher levels of burnout, and so much more. I believe that an exciting, meaningful life begins with a deep connection to your authentic self and taking conscious, aligned steps towards the life you truly desire.
Some of the things we could focus on are exploring values, meaning, and purpose, life transitions or change, general disinterest in life, and/or fostering satisfying sex and intimacy. Whether you are exploring your spirituality or seeking greater authenticity, I provide a supportive space where you can define
your next chapter and move forward with purpose.
I use an integrative approach, meaning I use multiple therapeutic modalities at the same time, based on individual needs. The modalities I use are: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Transpersonal Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Mindfullness, Therapeutic Art and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Nervous system regulation.

Sliding Scale Available
Each client may request a free initial consultation. This is not a therapy session, but rather a chance to meet and get a feel for how we can connect and work together.
During this consultation, we may discuss the fees and policies as we decide if we are a good fit to work together.
Why do we call our price list an investment instead of a cost? By definition, cost is just an expenditure of money, time, or resources while an investment is an expenditure that is sent out because it has the possibility of a return. We say investment instead of cost because you are not simply expending resources, you are investing in yourself, your health and well-being.
Alycia does offer a sliding scale on an "as needed" basis. Please reach out for more information.
