Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we may experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and treatment, I work with you to recover the motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger long after traumatic events. I work with you to help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Addiction is more than a physical dependence on a substance or activity. Being able to break the habit of any addiction is an amazing achievement. Be proud of what you have achieved and thank your Self for being here seeking counselling to maintain sobriety. Counselling can help you understand what led to your addictions, escape cravings and learn to manage stress, especially sudden life stresses, social and environmental triggers, and other issues that can lead to relapse.
Counselling more than addressing suffering, it is also about promoting mental health and wellness. We accomplish this through self-exploration, empowerment and personal growth. One cannot relive the past, nor can we live our lives always in the future. When we take each moment as we are in it, we free ourselves from worry and fear, present to experience peace.

First time clients are asked to use the contact page to set up the initial session with a psychotherapist.
In-person session in Ottawa are not bookable online. Please reach out via email if you would like to discuss in-person sessions.
Each client may request a free initial consultation. This is not a therapy session, but rather a chance to meet your psychotherapist and get a feel for how you can connect and work together.
During this consultation, we may discuss the fees and policies for your psychotherapy sessions as we decide if we are a good fit to work together.
Discovery Calls are done via phone or virtually, even if you are enquiring about in-person sessions in Ottawa.
Why do we call our price list an investment instead of a cost? By definition, cost is just an expenditure of money, time, or resources while an investment is an expenditure that is sent out because it has the possibility of a return. We say investment instead of cost because you are not simply expending resources when you engage in psychotherapy, as you journey with your psychotherapist, you are investing in yourself, your health and wellbeing.

Psychological & Spiritual Guidance with the Enneagram
The Enneagram is an ancient blueprint for understanding life. When viewed from a psychological perspective, the Enneagram can reveal our inherent patterns regarding our temperament, values, defence mechanisms, and motivational drives. Understanding our position in the Enneagram helps us gain insight regarding our thought processes and can begin to dissolve these patterns that no longer serve us. The typology of the nine interconnected personality types gives insight into the human psyche, helping us move from the relative dimension of personality to the transcendental understanding of our Essence.
Mindfulness Meditation helps to promote mental, emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Mindfulness practices aim to increase our awareness of the present moment with a sense of acceptance without judgment.
Mindfulness practices address emotional challenges, physical pain and relationship difficulties, bringing compassion, forgiveness, loving-kindness and joy to our body, heart, mind and community. Mindfulness Meditation helps us to clear the blocks that form in our thinking and our energy.
Through our mindfulness sessions, clients learn to become aware of their defence mechanisms and how their practice of fitting and labelling limit their awareness and experiences in the world. Mindfulness practices move us from a place of fear, disconnection and emotional unrest to a place of congruence, inner peace, and authenticity.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) & TFT (Thought Field Therapy) Tapping
These EFT/TFT sessions can be integrated into your therapy sessions or offered as stand alone sessions.
Both Thought Field Therapy (TFT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) involve
tapping specific meridian points points on the body. Though the idea of tapping to heal depression, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, phobias, and more, may seem too good to be true, studies have shown these practices to be effective with 80% of the people who use them. Each of these processes use tapping points, with some variations in the scaling, algorithms and process. Despite these variations, the overall goal of both methods is to help you overcome negative thoughts and traumatic memories.
EFT/TFT sessions can be used to support other therapies or as stand alone session.
This treatment does not have to be in-person, it can be done virtually.
