Why do we call our price list an investment instead of a cost? By definition, cost is just an expenditure of money, time, or resources while an investment is an expenditure that is sent out because it has a possibility of a return. We say investment instead of cost because you are not simply expending resources, you are investing in yourself, your health and wellbeing.
