I am currently a student completing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, practicing under the clinical supervision of Jennifer Jurkofsky. My passion for counselling stems from a deep belief in the empowerment of actively participating in your own healing. I’ve always been drawn to understanding how the brain works and how our thoughts, emotions and behaviours are interconnected. With a background in neuroscience and mental health, I was initially drawn to the biological and psychological underpinnings of mental health challenges. Over time, what truly captivated me was the human side of healing and the power of connection, safety, and self-discovery that therapy offers. Personal experiences played a key role in my decision to pursue a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. These reminded me of how isolating it can feel to face inner struggles alone and how powerful it is to be met with openness and empathy. Thus, I felt called to deepen my understanding and find ways to support others more meaningfully.

Our approach is integrative and holistic, incorporating a variety of evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology. We work with adults, couples, and families, and specialize in helping clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Our collaborative and compassionate approach ensures that you feel heard, understood, and supported every step of the way.

Each client may request a free initial consultation. This is not a therapy session, but rather a chance to meet and get a feel for how we can connect and work together.
During this consultation, we may discuss the fees and policies as we decide if we are a good fit to work together.
Why do we call our price list an investment instead of a cost? By definition, cost is just an expenditure of money, time, or resources while an investment is an expenditure that is sent out because it has the possibility of a return. We say investment instead of cost because you are not simply expending resources, you are investing in yourself, your health and well-being.
